Centennial recognizes Voith as player of the week

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Centennial Conference named Haverford College's Nina Voith the women's basketball player of the week on Monday afternoon in recognition of Voith's standout performance against Muhlenberg College last Tuesday.

Voith's career-high 27 points against the Mules helped the Fords upend previously undefeated Muhlenberg on its home floor -- a place where Haverford had registered just one previous win in program history. The senior guard, who just missed a double-double with nine rebounds, moved into third place on the program's all-time scoring list with the sensational effort that included an 11-for-12 performance from the free throw line.

The Fords (4-0, 2-0 CC) look to keep their perfect record intact on Tuesday night when they open their home slate with a conference contest against Washington College beginning at 6 p.m.
