Lynch earns co-player of the week honors

LANCASTER, Pa. - Haverford College freshman guard Elizabeth Lynch was named co-player of the week by the Centennial Conference league office Monday afternoon.

Lynch averaged 11.7 points and shot 40.9 percent from beyond the arc (9-of-22) in three wins by the Fords. She struck for 16 points and four three pointers in a 41-37 victory over Johns Hopkins that resulted in a sweep of the season series from the Blue Jays for the first time in program history.

Gettysburg College guard Alyssa Oursler shared the weekly honor with Lynch.

The Fords, winners of five-straight, head to Arcadia University tonight to take on the Knights at 6 p.m. Haverford then returns home for a 6 p.m. Centennial match-up against rival Swarthmore College Wednesday night.
