Why did you choose Haverford?
Haverford struck me as a place where students, faculty and administration were all working together towards a common goal rather than opposed to one another. This harmony assured me that this would be more than just a place to take classes for four years, but would be a place that I could really call home.

How the Haverford experience is unique?
Haverford's commitment to community really sets it apart from any other college I have visited or heard about through others. People we see on campus are not just empty faces we see once and then forget just as quickly. I feel a strong connection and responsibility to every other member of the Haverford community, and I think that most others will say the same.

Thoughts on the Honor Code:
I have to say that when I first heard about the Honor Code I was skeptical as to how well it could work in a college setting. I must admit that the last three years have shown me how much the students, professors, administrators, and staff at Haverford, respect the Honor Code and use it a guide when making decisions. Obviously, the Honor Code is not perfect, but the commitment to constantly change this living document is another integral part of the experience.

What does it mean to you to be a student-athlete?
What are sometimes seen as opposing goals, I tend to see as perfect complements. Academic and athletic success both test the same traits in you, but in slightly different ways. Both require determination, hard work, failures along the way, and a desire to achieve. Each feeds into the other and I cannot imagine my time at Haverford without either of these things in my life.

Favorite Haverford memory?
It's hard to really separate and rank the multitude of incredible memories that I've had at Haverford, but I'd have to say it would be any time that I was hanging out with my friends late on a Saturday night and discussing everything under the sun. There's no doubt that the best memories are inspired by the people around you, and I couldn't ask for a better set of people to spend my time with than the people I've found at Haverford.
