Fords drop tough contest to #12 Pomona-Pitzer

CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Haverford College men's tennis team completed its California trip on Friday night with a 6-3 loss to 12th-ranked Pomona-Pitzer College.

The Fords (1-3) competed well but could not bring down the Sagehens (5-4).

After coming up short in the doubles portion of the contest, Haverford registered three wins in singles as Kevin Caulfield at No. 1, Natty Sergay at No. 2, and Will Garrett at No. 6 all earned straight-set victories.

The Fords return home for a March 16 match-up against Salisbury University at 3:30 p.m.
