LANCASTER, Pa. - Adam Morollo of the Haverford College men's soccer team was named the Centennial Conference men's soccer defensive player of the week as announced on Monday by the league office.
Morollo, a senior co-captain, spearheaded a defensive unit that limited Rosemont to three shots overall and just one shot on goal during the Fords' 5-0 non-conference victory last Thursday.
Earlier in the season, Morollo earned defensive MVP honors at the Drew University Fall Festival as Haverford claimed the tournament title.
Dickinson College senior Derek Kachadurian was named the Centennial offensive player of the week.
The defending conference champion Fords (4-1) open Centennial play on Saturday when McDaniel College visits Walton Field at 2 p.m.
