Three from men's basketball named to all-conference team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Three players from Haverford College have been named to the All-Centennial Conference men's basketball team as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

Junior guard Ian Goldberg was voted second-team all-conference while senior forward Sam Permutt and sophomore guard Cam Baker were named honorable mention.

Goldberg finished the regular season second in the conference in three-point shooting percentage (.444, 55-of-124), fifth in assists (3.33 per game, Haverford leader), 13th in scoring average (13.1) and first in minutes played per game (35:55).

Permutt led Haverford in rebounding (8.3 per game) and field goal percentage (.586), categories in which his numbers ranked second-best in the league. The second-leading scorer for the Fords, Permutt's 15.7 points per game average was ninth among the conference's leaders.

Baker led the Fords in scoring (16.8, sixth in the Centennial) and steals per game (2.09, second in Centennial). Baker led the team in scoring nine times over the course of the season.

Both Goldberg and Permutt also earned inclusion on the Centennial academic honor roll.
