Field Hockey Camp (June 27-29)

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford College field hockey head coach Jackie Cox has announced the dates for the 2017 Outdoor Clinic (Sunday, April 30, 2017) and the 2017 Haverford College Field Hockey Camp (June 27-29, 2017).

Haverford's outdoor clinic is open to players in grades 8-12. The preregistration deadline for this camp is March 31, 2017 with the cost being $50 per player. This clinic will provide quality instruction as players will focus on stick skills, passing, receiving, shooting, and quickness. Goalies will work on their footwork, reaction time, and technique.

The overnight camp during the summer is open to ages 13-19 and will cover every aspect of the game through skill training and game situation. The evenings will consist of full field and half field competitions which will allow players to work on the skills they have learned at camp. Cost is $395 for a resident and $300 for commuter with discounted rates available for groups of six or more.

Head coach Jackie Cox recently completed her seventh season at Haverford and owns a 79-50 career record. The Fords have reached the Centennial Conference tournament on six of Cox's seven seasons, playing for the conference title on two occasions.
